On the 11th of July 2024, I chose to do an activity because I remembered that I have not done one in like, 2 days! I chose Activity eleven. Activity eleven was that we had to make as many words as we could out of the word SNOWSTORM. I didn’t want to think AT ALL. And when I finally wanted too, I could not think of ANY words whatsoever. I finally could think of only two words. The two words were snow and storm.

 

The challenging part was thinking the words(obviously). The easy part for me was to write down the words on the docs I made for the words.

 

Here are the words I thought of:

  • Two
  • Tow
  • Snow
  • Storm
  • Motors
  • Roosts
  • Snoots
  • Snorts
  • Storms

That was all of the words I could think of because my BRAIN was NOT WORKING!!

Winter❄️ Learning💡 Journey👣 Catapult🤾🏽 Activity 📋 at home🏡

On the 8th of July 2024, I chose to do a Winter Learning Journey activity again. I chose activity fifteen. Activity fifteen was to build a catapult from things in our house that can shoot a cotton ball or something like that. I started to make mine. I got an empty toilet roll and some blu tak. I got a plastic spoon and some foil. I scrunched up the foil so it would be like a ball. I used the blu take and the empty toilet paper roll first. I used the blu tak to stick the toilet paper roll on the notebook that’s like 100 years old(but it does not look like it) so the floor won’t get sticky. Then, I used a plastic spoon and took blu take to stick it on the toilet paper roll. I took the scrunched foil and tested the catapult by putting the foil on the plastic spoon and putting down the back of the spoon down, so that the foil will go up in the air!

 

The things I found challenging  are that I could not find ANY glue so I HAD to use blu take. The things I found easy were putting the things together.

Winter❄️ Learning💡 Journey👣 Kiribati🇰🇮 Poster 📜

On the 6th of June 2024, I went to the Winter Learning Journey site. I picked Activity 9. Activity 9 was we had to make a poster of simple words of the Kiribati Language. I searched up greetings, colours, shapes and numbers. I found out that Kiribati was in Oceania! I put the background as read because I searched up on Google what Kiribati‘s favorite colour was and Red came up. I added the flag and what I found out about Kiribati. Kiribati is a country in Oceania and the flag is so good! I love the flag!! I had no idea that Kiribati ever existed!!

 

The challenging part for me was to find the greeting, colours, shapes and numbers because whenever I clicked on a link, I could not find the information. The easy part for me was changing the background colour, putting in the flag image and writing.

Winter❄️ Learning💡 Journey👣 Song♬ Maker 📝

The Term 2 holidays have started! So, on the 6th of July 2024, I went to the Winter Learning Journey page and chose an activity. I chose activity 8. That activity was to make a song on Song Maker. The link to Song Maker was already there so I clicked on it. It lead me to a page that was blank with small rectangles and dots! When you clicked on one of the small rectangles or dots, it would make a music sound! I played with it for a bit and then started to make my song. I only used the music, I did not use the mic. After I was done, I had to use screencast to record my song.

 

The challenging part for me was to find out how to use the Song Maker. The easy part for me was after I figured out how to use Song Maker.
